Description |
|
|
|
Arne Nature Reserve is situated
within a Wild untouched part of Dorset made
up of heathland and woodland. Managed
by the RSPB.
There
are a number of nature trails; some with panoramic views over Poole
Harbour and some with bird hides overlooking the mudflats of Arne
Bay.
Very popular for family walks, the paths are mostly wide and pushchair friendly. We walked west of the car park and came to a lovely sandy beach overlooking Poole Harbour. The whole area around this part of dorset is remote and wonderful. |
