Breamore
House is a large Elizabethan Manor House with
an excellent Countryside
Museum, set next to the largely unspoilt 17th
century village of Breamore.
The House was built in 1583, five years prior to the Spanish Armada
and in the early 18th century was purchased by Sir Edward Hulse,
Baronet and physician to the royal court. The House has remained
in the Hulse family and is still very much a family home. 'Children
of the New Forest' was filmed here. Well worth a visit! |
