Burley village
  Description
Burley is a Small, Picturesque Village in the middle of the New Forest countryside. It is a popular destination and the village can get overrun with tourists in the summer.

The 17th century Queen's Head pub in the village is a popular place to visit and a past haunt of local smugglers. During renovation work a cellar was uncovered and a stash of pistols and coins were found.

Burley has a connection with witches, in the late 1950s resident Sybil Leek, a well-known white witch, lived here and wandered through the village with her pet jackdaw. Many of the gift shops now sell witch-related gifts.

Village activities include Bike Hire and Wagon Rides
