Wimborne
Minster Model Town |
Description |
Re-creating the historic market town of Wimborne Minster exactly
as it was during the 1950s. The Model
Town had
over 100 shop window displays constructed in 1/10th scale by a
group of skilled and dedicated model makers when rural England
was still recovering from the war years.
Peer
into the Butchers, the Ironmongers, the Bakery and the Fishmongers,
not forgetting the interior of the Minster Church. |
