She was also washing & using a Dolly Tub which is common here. There was also a sofa in the room which is also usual in the poor cottages here & a general air of comfort more than in the south. The children are also more lively & intelligent looking. - We then went to look in at the church & then to Charlotte girls school & heard them Washing dollies and tub.
